Pattern is from Bratty Francine the Olive Bloomer Shorts! I've made the short slightly shorter than the pattern suggested

Follow the steps in the pattern, so easy to follow

Shirring, shirring, shirring - Set stitch length to the longest and up the thread tension, play around with this to get the result you are after ( try out on separate fabric first to get the settings right ). Rule of thumb is the longer the stitch length and higher the tension the tighter the gathers.
Outcome and Evaluation
I think the shorts turned out so cute and I love the fabric I used for them - nice and light cotton poplin :)
